Welkomen!

Welcome to my blog. In the interest of being as un-self-indulgent as possible, I'm going to write very little. Mainly I'm going to post news stories that I want to archive, and am going to use blogspot to do that. If I flatter myself very highly, I shall imagine that other people will read it as well. For the sake of disclosure, I will also post the poem which gives this blog its name.

General, your tank
is a powerful vehicle
