A Tribunal in Rome, Italy signed 146 arrest orders today for military officials involved in Operation Condor ( or check out the National Security Archive for documentation) during the 70s and 80s. The list includes 61 argentinos, 7 bolivianos, 13 brasileƱos, 22 chilenos, 7 paraguayos, 4 peruanos and 32 uruguayos, although 6 are already dead, including ex-Chilean dictator Agosto Pinochet.
The Tribunal demands the respective countries commence the search for and extradition of those named.
